Permutation

the concept for this project began when one night i started to mess with some string on my desk while taking a mental break from one of my other more pressing due dates. i noticed that if i dropped the string from a high up position it would land on the desk in very random interesting patterns. i started to take photographs of the string and manipulate it after it had fallen to make more interesting compositions. then i thought “what if i made a typeface that emulated the idea of a single string making a letter form?”. after completing the typeface i wanted a way to display all the pieces and concept behind the font in a single place, so why not an album cover about reaching the singularity, or rather the stringularity.
