Web Illustrations

  • looking towards upcoming conferences our team was searching for a new way to represent the product to the public. to bring a fresh face to some newly created demos these illustrations were created to help the complex data tool feel friendlier and approachable by all levels of experience.

    • clearly defined the illustration objectives. what key features of the analytic tool should be highlighted? who will the audience viewing these pages be?

    • developed a storyboard to plan the flow of the illustrations. identified the key steps to explain the order in which content should be presented. took time to consider how each illustration would connect to the next to create a coherent narrative.

    • chose a visual style that aligned with the overall design site purpose. decided on the color scheme, typography, and branding elements that should be incorporated.

    • created sketches for initial illustration concepts. refined and polished sketches to get initial versions to review. after final selection, chosen concepts were rendered in high fidelity vectors and exported in web safe formats.

  • this process was particularly rewarding for me because i was able to collaborate with a wonderful team of people to create a suite of demos for our product.

Blog Feed

this illustration was created to demonstrate the view point of the creator / viewer of long scroll web based blog content. the story reaches out to the viewer whimsically making the content more inviting.

Meet the Team

this illustration was created with the idea of meeting the team but in a more digital way. the devices represent the users and the chat shows a resolution with a friendly wave goodbye, showing a successful first time meet up.
